Government Funding Support for Employers

All organizations that are registered or incorporated in Singapore are eligible for course fee and absentee payroll funding when they sponsor their Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident employees for training courses funded by Skillsfuture SG (SSG).

Course Fee Funding

Course fee funding is available to employers who sponsor their Singapore Citizen(SC), Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR), and Long Term Visitor Pass Plus (LTVP+) employees for training courses funded by SSG

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Your organisation must be registered or incorporated in Singapore
  • Non-business entities not registered with ACRA, such as Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) and societies are eligible
  • Sole proprietorships which meet all of the above criteria are also eligible

SkillsFuture Subsidy

The SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy supports and encourages lifelong learning and helps Singaporeans stay responsive to a changing workplace. Recognising that mid-career individuals may face greater challenges in undertaking training, the Government has implemented this programme to encourage mid-career Singaporeans to upskill and reskill.

 

Eligible individuals will receive higher subsidies of up to 90% of course fees for SSG-supported courses. Individuals must qualify for the MOE/SSG base course fee subsidy in order to be eligible to for the enhanced rates under the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy.

 

The SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit encourages employers to invest in both enterprise and workforce transformation. Eligible firms will receive a one-off $10,000 credit to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expenses for supportable enterprise development and workforce transformation programmes.
